41st Annual Middle Island Harvest Festival Set for October 3–5, 2025 at Tyler County Fairgrounds

Middlebourne, WV – The beloved fall tradition continues as the 41st Annual Middle Island Harvest Festival returns to the Tyler County Fairgrounds on October 3–5, 2025. This family-friendly event promises a weekend full of heritage, crafts, delicious food, and festive fun — with free admission for all!

Daily attractions include a hands-on showcase of Appalachian traditions with sorghum making, apple butter stirring, cider pressing, cornmeal grinding, and working craft demonstrations. Visitors can also enjoy a wide variety of vendors in the Flea Market and Arts & Crafts areas, offering everything from handmade goods to unique finds.

One of the festival’s most popular features, the Big Pumpkin Contest, is back — encouraging local growers to show off their grandest gourds. Plus, families can take in the beautiful fall scenery aboard Hay Wagon Rides, operating throughout the weekend.

No fall festival is complete without mouthwatering food, and the Harvest Festival does not disappoint. Enjoy daily breakfast, hearty helpings of soup beans and cornbread, and featuring a baked steak dinner on Sunday from 11am-2pm. A wide range of food vendors will be serving up seasonal favorites and comfort food classics all weekend long.
