Within the past few years we
have implemented a new strategy to help deal with the
traffic patterns on our fairgrounds. What we are
trying to accomplish is increasing the safety to our
patrons. We no longer allow parking in front of the
livestock barn nor in the entertainment complex. We
also close the main gate to divert the heavy traffic flow
directly into our two large parking lots, this diversion
keeps heavy traffic out of the midway section of the
fairgrounds and allows for dense foot traffic. We
appreciate your patience as we are still fine tuning these
issues.
Designated Handicapped Parking
If you require handicapped
parking you must display a valid handicap permit
issued by the state or you may see a fair official to obtain
one. When displayed you will promptly be directed to
our handicapped area, which is located adjacent to the
entertainment complex. Also if you require additional
assistance please see a fair official and your need will be
dealt with promptly. Shuttle service is available if
you have special need or have trouble getting around, we can
provide shuttle with a Golf Cart or similar vehicle.
Special Permit Parking
Livestock Barns
For access and parking to barn
areas, a barn pass must be visible on vehicle. Barn passes
are only available to personal with livestock in the barns.
To obtain a pass please see the livestock chairman when you
arrive to the fair.
Camping Permits
Upon renting a campsite you will
be given a camping permit decal that is to be attached to
your vehicle. This permit ensure you will be given
unrestricted access to the rear gate and be allowed to
travel to the campground. Please remember only two (2)
permits are issued to each campsite. Any vehicle in
the campground that does not display a permit will be asked
to leave. |
