The Tyler County Fair Prince and Princess Contest will be held on Monday, August 3 at 7:00 PM. The contest is open to children who are residents of Tyler County. They must be 4 years old by August 1, 2010, and not have reached their 7th birthday by August 1, 2010.

The number of contestants will be limited to 25. The first 25 registrations received according to the date of the postmark will be eligible.

All children will be asked to come on stage and talk with the interviewer.

Judging will be based on Sunday best clothing (NO PAGEANT CLOTHING), ability to answer questions, and overall demeanor.

The winners must wear the crown and sash provided by the Fair Association when representing the fair in parades and local functions.

The winners will receive a $50.00 savings bond.

Applications may be obtained by calling 758-5174 or 652-1730. If no one answers, leave your name and address so an application can be sent to you.  Applications must be received by Saturday, July 26, 2010.
