Exhibits for the Art Exhibit will be accepted
during the following times: |

Sunday before
the fair, Between 1:00 PM & 5:00 PM |
| |
Monday of the
fair, Between 8:00 AM & 12:00 PM |
| |
(Sunday
delivery of all exhibits would be very much
appreciated.) |
| 2. |
Exhibits submitted must remain on display until
8:00 PM on Saturday, August 7, 2010. Exhibits
must be picked up the same day. |
| |
(Exhibits
remaining after this time will be unattended and
will not be the responsibility of the exhibit
chairman nor the Tyler County Fair Association.) |
| 3. |
Exhibits to be entered must be framed or mounted
on a durable support and must have sturdy
hanging mounts attached. No exhibits will
be accepted having only a taped string for
hanging. |
| 4. |
Exhibitors may enter only one entry in each of
the following categories: |

a. Oils, Alkyds,
or Acrylic Paintings rendered in the oil
technique. |
| |
|
b. Water based
paintings - acrylics, egg tempera, gouache, etc. |
| |
|
Rendered in a transparent technique; Pastel
paintings - full coverage
of support with medium |
| |
|
c. Drawings -
Pencil, Graphite, Charcoal, Conte Crayon, Pen &
Ink |
| |
|
Pastel Line Work, etc. |
| |
|
d. Multimedia -
any combination of the above, including collage
and |
| |
|
buildup works. |

e. Decorative
Arts - All Media and Supports |

Works
must have been completed in the past two years. |

must not have been entered in the past at the
Tyler County Fair |

Entries will be divided into five divisions,
based on age of the exhibitor, for judging. |

a. Adult
Professional - 18 years of age or older |
| |
|
b. Adult Amateur
- 18 years of age or older |
| |
|
c. Senior
Division - 12 thru 17 years of age |
| |
|
d. Junior
Division - 6 thru 11 years of age |
| |
|
e. Pre-School
Division - 3 thru 5 years of age |
| 8. |
Ribbons will be awarded on a point system based
upon the following set of criteria. |
